Dr Simita Amayo is a General Dentist providing NHS and private dental care across South East London and Essex. She graduated from King’s College London, completing both a BSc in Anatomy, Developmental & Human Biology and her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). During her time at King’s, Simita also completed a Research Fellowship at the King’s College London Centre for Craniofacial & Regenerative Biology and later became a published author through her research work.
Simita enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in minimally invasive cosmetic treatment, restorative dentistry, urgent dental care and fixed prosthodontics including aesthetic crowns and onlays. She is passionate about creating healthy, natural-looking smiles using modern techniques and high quality aesthetic materials whilst preserving healthy tooth structure.
Alongside routine and cosmetic dentistry, Simita also provides out-of-hours urgent care. She understands how distressing dental pain can feel and places great importance on ensuring patients feel calm, reassured and comfortable throughout treatment.
Simita takes a holistic approach to patient care, focusing on stabilising oral health, removing active disease and achieving healthy gums as the foundation for long-term functional and aesthetic outcomes. She particularly enjoys educating and empowering patients so they feel informed, confident and fully involved in their treatment journey and cosmetic goals.
Patients often describe Simita as gentle, friendly and calming, with many appreciating her reassuring manner and ability to make appointments feel relaxed and pain-free. She takes pride in helping even anxious patients leave feeling comfortable, reassured and happy to return for future care.
Outside of dentistry, Simita enjoys travelling, health and wellbeing, and keeping active.
